KATE MOSS LEFT BREAST CHAMPAGNE COUPE

To celebrate 25 years in the fashion industry, supermodel Kate Moss has collabrated with sculptor Jane McAdam Freud and Mayfair restaurant 34 to create a champagne coupe moulded into the exact shape of her left breast.

Legend has it that the first champagne coupe that was made in the 18th century was modelled on Marie Antoinette's left breast, which provided the inspiration for the british artist Jane McAdam Freaud's modern interpretation.

IF I LIVE I'LL SEE YOU TUESDAY ...

A new short film recently posted on TransWorld SKATEboarding, directed by Gary Gardner and sponsored and sanctioned by Christie’s. Pro skateboarder Christopher “Cmart” Martin shreds his way through the halls and out onto the auction floor, grinding past priceless works of art by some of this century’s greatest artists, including Andy Warhol, Richard Prince , Ed Ruscha, Jeff Koons, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and more.
The film serves as an announcement of sorts, showing pieces of art that will be in an upcoming auction titled “If I Live I’ll See You Tuesday,” which is estimated to sell for a total of nearly $70 million.                                  via grindtv.com

NOBUYOSHI ARAKI ❘ LOVE ON THE LEFT EYE

In October of last year the uncompromising erotic photographer Nobuyoshi Araki lost the vision in his right eye from a retinal artery obstruction. As a result, the 74-year-old provocateur’s salacious new juxtapositions of naked girls and floral arrangements are half obscured, bringing his personal experience as close to the medium as possible.                                                                                 via nowness.com

Love On The Left Eye was exhibited til June 21 at the Taka Ishii Gallery, Tokyo.
