A new short film recently posted on TransWorld SKATEboarding, directed by Gary Gardner and sponsored and sanctioned by Christie’s. Pro skateboarder Christopher “Cmart” Martin shreds his way through the halls and out onto the auction floor, grinding past priceless works of art by some of this century’s greatest artists, including Andy Warhol, Richard Prince , Ed Ruscha, Jeff Koons, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and more.
The film serves as an announcement of sorts, showing pieces of art that will be in an upcoming auction titled “If I Live I’ll See You Tuesday,” which is estimated to sell for a total of nearly $70 million. via grindtv.com
