Hedi Slimane is a multifaceted artist who already lent his talents to various areas such as fashion and photography. Between 2000 and 2007 he was the creative director of Dior Homme (the menswear line of Christian Dior). After his departure from the Dior House, he has devoted himself completely to photography creating his own aesthetic ( a dark, edgy, rock'n'roll and glamorous one).
After much speculation, YSL announced his return to the fashion world in 2012 as creative director of Saint Laurent Paris (formerly Yves Saint Laurent).
